Location
A pleasant site a couple of miles from Keswick with nice
scenery

A flat site with good facilities,where the camping field is seperated from the
static vans
The site has good facilities with plenty of toilets and enough showers.The shop is licensed and sells
groceries and papers.Next door is a coffee shop which does a fair breakfast.
Nearest village is Braithwaite 5-10 mins walk which has a couple of pubs
Overall the site was very good,you can pitch where you like, the time we stayed it was
pretty spacious although during holiday times that may change.
The Royal Oak in Braithwaite is typical
local that sells good midprice food with a selection
of real ales some of which are endorsed by the Cask Marque plaque ( this means
the beer has been independently tested and marked on its quality)
