This has to be my favourite site because of its location and peaceful atmosphere.
It is a small level/sloping site which is normally quiet and relaxing,it is unusual for it to get busy.
Its facilities are good, with ample showers, toilets a washing up room with a fridge,
it also has a small shop and swings for the kiddies.
Because of its location there are plenty of options for walking. As I develop this website more information will be provided.
Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead
The site is surrounded by trees and lots of birds nest here, therefore the dawn chorus can be a bit loud as can the road in the bottom field

If this site is not already worth a visit, 10 minutes walk away is a great pub.
The Farmers Arms. A small pub that has a restaurant area serving meals( I have never eaten here as its a bit pricey, but by all accounts very good food) and a smallish flagstone bar area and also a garden.
The pub serves the normal lagers and beers but always has 3 or four real ales and
this is kept and served to a high standard.I have not had a bad pint here.
The real ales vary but the regular beer is the wonderful Spitfire from brewers Shepherd Neame
